Where bloggers create 2013... Vintage chaos

I'm going to let the pictures do most of the talking...

I have only been in my studio for a couple of months...

As you can see, I still have totes and baskets to unpack...

If it wasn't for all my cupboards, drawers, hat boxes and containers, my vintage bits and baubles would be literally everywhere!

As it is... I wanted to be "real" and let you see my chaos...

I'm hoping to be settled by September... Since I have a mall space, doing four shows this summer, and I conduct estate sales, I'm giving my studio time to evolve...

But I absolutely love creating my distressed tags...

Decorating candles...

Playing with vintage letters and old old ephemera...

Creating mini terrariums...

Creating plaques...

Toying with words and letters....

And taking antique papers...

And creating paper flowers...

In September I hope to update you all on my ever-changing studio...

And if you're in the Pacific Northwest you should come by these great vintage shows and see me ( and loads of great dealers!)

So for now- thank you so much for stopping by- a HUGE thank you to Karen from My Desert Cottage for hosting this super great event that I look forward to every year- I'm going to be spending lots of time going through everyone's studio... Can't wait to see them all!

Oh I can relate of being the unpacking stage, I was there last year when I had everything in boxes during the last WBC event... funny part is that when I was cleaning up here for this years event I found yet another box or three that still needs sorting through and be unpacked. Your space will look fantastic when you finally get it all set up, ton of great storage containers and stands. Love the old green (I think it was used for nails and things??) stand.

Happy unpacking and creating your new space, I hope you share it again next year so we can see how it turned out : )

Your workroom looks lovely and I love all the different types of storage., especially the carousel and the sets of small drawers. I keep an eye out for something like that for my room but I've not come across anything as yet.
Your work that you have displayed looks lovely too. Your decorated candles, are they actual candles or things for putting candles in? Either way they look lovely, as do your paper flowers.
Thanks for showing us around your workroom.
Happy making :-)
