WOW! I am actually blogging. It is amazing to me that so many people can read this, well, and so few.
My goals are to invite people in, to see my store, ALL MY FAVORITE THINGS, in Portland Oregon, and to share my dream of owning my own store.
I would also hope to inspire others to follow their dream of opening a store.
And, to showcase some of the fabulous local artists that consign their work in my store.
Of course, this is all so new to me. Not even sure how to upload photos yet, but will strive hard to accomplish this feat!!!

Hi - Just found your blog today and read the whole thing! I swear I should live in Portland, because I love it up there, because one of my very beat friends lives in Vancouver Wa., and because I read the blogs of so many wonderful women who live in that area! I LOVE to come up there and go to the antiques malls, and thrift shops, etc. I wish I could do it more often. I can't think of anything more wonderful than having your own store (which I could never afford to do!)I wish I was there - swear and I'd even offer to help out in setting up your new store! Displaying is one of my favorite things to do!
