a bit more personal...

I started another blog today, todayspersonalbits.blogspot.com, cuz it was a resolution this year to journal a bit more (oops...it did take until Feb.13th for this New Years resolution to kick in...).
this blog will stay the same, mostly about the store and the vintage finds and creations that we make...
and the personal one will be more about dreams, hopes, moods...life in general...
I have loved being in blogland and sharing my store and life with you...but the new, personal blog will be a bit more about...well, life away from the store...
cuz I think that life should be about more than work...and I have so loved sharing my life with you all, and I love all the comments that I get...
so I look forward to you visiting my new blog, too...and hope that you enjoy it.
have a great, great weekend...and HAPPY VALENTINE's DAY to you all!

I can TOTALLY relate with the whole life vs. work thing. Seems as a business owner, even with my husband and two oldest boys working too, work is always at home...mind, body, and soul.

Why is that? Well, cause, I guess without the work, there'd be no time for life, cause we'd be looking for work, so we could live life....

It's a rat race!

On another note, I received your blog winnings in the mail. I just love how all the "littles" are stamped Made in Japan. Don't see that much anymore....I fell in love with the box, just as it fell apart in my hand. I love vintage! Old, falling apart and all...and unfortunately, a few of the little silvered ornaments were broken into a million little slivers. Gotta love our USPS!

I will post photos of everything after the big V-day barrage online!

Haven't had time up until now to even say Thank YOU! Been busy...
WORKING...if you get my drift...

Happy Saturday!

I will be a great thing to have a place to relax and be yourself Melanie. I write a journal at home too and have for years, but doing it on line seems like a great option.
BTW I loved the french chairs in your last post. Too beautiful.
