GRAND MARKETPLACE...WHERE HAVE I BEEN??
First there was Plucky...
Plucky Maidens holiday show...
I have been gone for a long time from blogland...and I do have my reasons...
First off, I did the Plucky Maidens Holiday Show...
And I really, really, don't remember much of it..
No, I hadn't had too many lemon drops...
I had a horrific fever, and was horribly, ickily, sick that weekend...and it still hasn't completely gone away ( my voice sounds a bit like a munchkin from the Wizard of Oz...)...
Seriously, if my son and his friends hadn't helped me set up ( and tear down), if my friends and hubby hadn't come to my rescue, I don't know what I would have done...
And secondly...I have been building walls and planning my second mall space in Portland at the Grand Marketplace...
If you haven't been there yet, you really should! It is sooo incredibly different from anyplace else...
I have been lucky enough to have been invited to open a space there even before she opened...but had too much on my plate at the time...so thankfully when she had just the right space for me, she invited me again...
So here we are building walls, creating the backdrop to what will be my primitive booth, filled with plants and cement and lots of wonderful old oddities and treasures...

But my theme is Christmas in the Enchanted Forest...
So it's a mixture of holiday decor...

And, of course, a mixture of garden ornaments...
Lots of vintage gift items, lots and lots of holiday...
It's a fabulous show full of great vendors...

Christmas in the enchanted forest...all my favorite things at Plucky Maidens Holiday Show...
There will be glitter and ornaments and holiday treasures...
Some loved bunnies...
There might even be a breeze or two...
But a bit of the forest will be there too...
Some deer...

Rain...rain...rain...
Portland is known to be rainy..
These are not dirty windows... This is a wall of rain coming down...
I'm lucky enough to have a job that is mostly inside...I'm setting up another estate sale and this was the view outside yesterday as I set up...
Sneak peeks of the sale (inside!) coming soon! The sale is not this weekend, but next, so I'm hoping to get a bit of creative time in this week!
