I was published !
ok...so not a big deal... but an editorial that I wrote to the Oregonian got published today...it is about the sad decay of the Portland Public School system...
so although I would rather have a piece of art or my business published...it was still kinda fun to see my name in print...
silly, aren't I?
have a great week...
Im off looking for a job writing at the newspaper :)

Wow! Good for you! I'd love to hear your letter, any chance you could shoot me an email? Our public schools here are mostly pretty terrible too.....I'm glad our dd goes to a private Catholic school!
There never seems to be enough money and/or we question how the money is being used in the public school system. My beef is with the quality/personalities of teachers. Is your editorial online? I would love to read it.
Congratulations. I would like to read it. Even though we don't have kids, I am very upset with our current education system and on top of that, they want to keep cutting things!!
Good for you! We need attention brought to the sad state our school system is in around here!
